We’re joining thousands of churches around the world to serve our cities and show the love of Jesus in real, practical ways. At City Hills, we have over 50 ways you can serve—from serving the hungry to blessing children & families in need. There’s something for everyone. Serve Saturday Sign-Up

Sign-up below EVERY Serve Saturday. Click the project of your choice and complete the form to sign up for Serve Saturday. This helps us prepare an amazing experience for you and ensure we have enough food and supplies. We will see you at the City Hills Papermill Campus on Serve Saturday. Angelic Ministry

Complete warehouse work that supports the difference Angelic Ministries is making in serving people walking through and coming out of homelessness. This is a great project for families.

Ben Atchley Veteran's Home

Serve our elderly and ailing veterans at Ben Atchley Veteran's home through relational connection, devotionals, and games. *Background check required for adults

Big Oak Apartment Outreach

Serve families and children in Big Oak Apartments through relational ministry. Connect through games, snacks, crafts, prayer, and a simple Bible lesson. *Background Check Required for Adults

Cedar Springs Apartment Outreach (WEST CAMPUS)

Serve families and children in Cedar Springs Apartments through relational ministry. Connect through games, snacks, and a simple Bible lesson. *Background Check Required for Adults

City Hope Moms

Assist our City Hope Moms team with different projects that support the ongoing work we do each semester to support moms walking through unplanned pregnancies. This is a great project for adults.

Diaper Giveaway

Join us in serving families with diaper needs by providing sets of diapers for their infants and toddlers.

Drive thru Prayer

Meet people with unexpected blessing by offering personal prayer and intercession to them in the Pond Gap community. If you have a heart for prayer and are experienced with City Hills prayer culture, this is the perfect place for you to make a difference!

Flower Power

This is a skilled labor project for people with artistic abilities. Join us in making 250 cards to pair with floral arrangements that will be delivered to senior citizens in nursing homes. Let's bring a little hope and beauty into the lives of our senior neighbors.

For the Love of Reading

Sort books with our partner, For the Love of Reading. The work done by For the Love of Reading puts books into the hands of under-resourced children. This is a great project for individual adults and families.

Gas Giveaway

Pray and pay for gas at the pump of local community gas stations. Come meet people with unexpected blessing in the mundane of life. Volunteers greet guests, pump gas, and/or pray with guests.

Haircuts for Kids

You can be a part of this team even if you do not cut hair! Volunteers also host families, check them in, and assist stylists in cleaning their tools, etc. Barbers and stylists are also needed to provide free haircuts for kids and teach parents basic haircare. Volunteers are needed to host families while other volunteers style hair. *Background check required for adults.

Hugs for Heroes

Prepare appreciation gifts and thank you cards for various groups of local heroes. This is a great project where families with young children can serve together.

James 1:27

Serve widows in our church family and community by performing lawn maintenance and beautification. This is a great project for families! Dress appropriately for an outdoor project.

KARM Retail Store

Serve in local KARM Retail stores to assist with organizing donations. Serving at KARM helps fund the work they do to aid Knoxville's homeless population.

KARM Shelter

Aid the work of Knox Area Rescue Ministries in serving people in homelessness by providing snacks for their clients and offering prayer in the residential area.

Loads of Love (NORTH CAMPUS)

Pray with families and pay for their laundry at the Wash House laundromat. This is a great projects for adults and people who speak both Spanish and English.

Love People

Serve our neighbors living on the streets of Knoxville without homes through a hot meal, prayer, worship, and relational connections that point them to Jesus.

Pond Gap School

Serve the Pond Gap community through teacher appreciation, school beautification, and family events that support Pond Gap as a community school. This is a great project for individuals or families.

Senior Care (NORTH CAMPUS)

Help senior citizens experience the church by taking a time of community, worship, and a simple Gospel message to them in local nursing homes. Serving with Senior Care is great for individuals and families. *Background check required for adults

Spanish Interpreters

If you are fluent in both Spanish and English we'd love to have you assist in serving our Spanish-speaking guests. This team offers serve opportunities for adults only.

This project is open to Adult Members of City Hills Church only. Help people connect in making a difference by checking them in and providing a WOW experience. *Background Check Required

Women in Crisis Support

Support the work of the Family Justice Center in rescuing families from abusive situations through repair projects, providing supplies for the women served, and by helping with our "repeat boutique." Our goal is to help women and children begin again.
